Doire Feile 2010 While the Enniskillen Gaels did not win any silverware at the 2010 Feile held in Derry, there is no doubt that the experience will live long in the memories of those who went. For the record the Gaels defeated the host club Craigbane on the Friday and Castledawson on the Saturday but were defeated by St Marys of Sligo who in turn progressed to the semi final.

Enniskillen Gaels would like to thank the host club Craigbane for outstanding efforts in affording the Gaels excellent hospitality throughout the weekend and the Castledawson club who hosted the games on the Saturday. A special thanks to the many supporters who made their way to the parade in Derry on Friday and to the matches in Craigbane and Castledawson. We have many photos of the weekend and we will put them in a special Gallery on the site, but we have included a few here as well ..

Enniskillen 7-8 St Patricks 6-13

In a hugely entertaining match St Pats came from behind to snatch victory in the U14FC. Enniskillen led for most of the match after a slow start but could not withstand the late rally with the winning scores arriving late in injury time. The game was a great exhibition for U14 football and both teams should be commended on the superb skills shown throughout. Enniskillen will now look forward to the Feile at the start of July and we wish St Patricks best of luck in the next round of the championship.

Youth Quiz 2010 Friday night saw Enniskillen Gaels host a sports quiz in the clubhouse. In a well attended and entertaining night a substantial amount was raised for Youth Development. For the record the McAleer quartet won the contest but such was the closeness of the competition that three teams tied for 2nd and a further 3 teams for third. As well as the quiz itself, many generous sponsors contributed to a vast array of spot prizes with Shane Connelly grasping a few of these and Pat Callaghan bagging the Fermanagh Polo Shirt.

Michael Sheridan was quizmaster for the night with Audra and Tony providing the marks. Ollie McShea also chipped in at half time with some ticket selling. The club would like to thank its sponsors : Bush bar, Charlies bar,Crowes Nest,Diamond Cabs,Erne Pharmacy,Gillens vegetable shop, Irenes House of Beauty,John Hughes pharmacy,Mchugh Lynam solicitors,O'Neills sports store, Pats bar,Railway Hotel, Sheridans,Willie Ramblers, Brian + Paula treacy,Simon + Catherine bradley,John Connolly and Cormac Hughes Jordan
